Our family-run Boiler Engineering company is looking to recruit an engineering labourer to assist our current team with various roles that will keep the site functioning efficiently, clean, tidy and well-organised. Responsibilities
General labouring duties include collecting and delivering materials, unloading and organising goods inwards and ensuring the workshops and yards are clean and tidy.
Assisting the engineering and management teams as and when required with a variety of roles to ensure operational efficiency, including working out onsite and staying away at times. Carry out stock-taking, upkeep of motor vehicles, basic engineering duties, forklift driving and Safely managing the waste and material movement both internally & externally across the site.
Skills and Experience
- The ability to manage and prioritise your workload effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
- Ensures deadlines are met whilst working under pressure.
- Excellent team player.
- Ideally, you will have previous experience working within an engineering environment or similar.
- Clean Driving license.
- Forklift License is preferred but not essential.

Other Information
3-month initial contract leading to a full-time permanent role. Ongoing training is provided to up-skill further.
License: Full clean UK driving licence preferred
Hours: Monday to Friday (45 Hours Basic). Weekend availability and overtime
Salary: To be discussed depending on experience
