Heritage Boilers -> New Fireboxes Of Both Riveted & Welded Design
At McEwen’s we pride ourselves on our quality when it comes to the manufacture of items such as fireboxes. We are able to manufacture most shapes and sizes for both steam locomotives and traction engines. We have a comprehensive range of tooling and formers which we have built up over the years and can offer flanged & butt weld designs, riveted & flat end plates.
One example of a Flanged & Butt- Welded firebox complete with roof girders. This box has now been fit to the Locomotive Boiler out of L&YR 752.
